# Create Mikhmon Voucher Packages: Duration, Price, and Speed Limits

> Open Hotspot > Profiles > Add Profile in Mikhmon Pro V5. Set the speed limit, expiry mode, validity, and prices, then select that profile when generating vouchers. Keep validity since first login separate from the account’s accumulated online-time limit.

## Steps

1. Select the correct router and open Hotspot > Profiles > Add Profile. Set Profile Name to 1jam, Shared Users to 1, and Rate Limit [rx/tx] to 2M/5M.
2. Choose Expired Mode: Remove & Record. Set Validity to 1h and both Price and Selling Price to 3000. For this example, leave Address Pool and Parent Queue as none, and Lock User as Disable.

*Local simulation: the 1jam profile uses 1h validity, a 2M/5M rate limit, and Rp 3,000 prices. The phone-width view reopens the same profile.*

3. Click Create Profile and check the 1jam row in Profiles. Open Expire Monitor and check for Running; if it is Inactive, use Enable Monitor. Check the router clock, time zone, and NTP in Winbox > System > Clock and System > NTP Client.

*The saved 1jam profile appears in the simulated Profiles list.*

4. Open Generate Vouchers and select User Profile: 1jam. Start with three vouchers and a recognizable batch comment. If using Limits (Optional), set Time Limit for the intended package and review the form before generating.

*The 1jam profile is selected for three sample vouchers. This form has not been submitted and does not show a generated batch.*

5. Before printing a large batch, log in with one test account through the hotspot portal. Check the speed cap, expiry time, and printed price. Inspect the account in Winbox > IP > Hotspot > Users if the result differs from the package settings.

**Pro tip.** Try new rules with a new profile name and one test account. Editing a profile already used by customers can change the policy for other accounts assigned to it.

## A one-hour package priced at Rp 3,000

Suppose you sell Wi-Fi access for one device, valid for one hour after the first login. This example caps client upload at 2 Mbps and download at 5 Mbps. The name 1jam identifies the package for operators; the actual policy comes from the profile fields and account limits.

Screenshots use the real V5 application with locally simulated data. Account names and usage figures are examples. Test the policy on your network before selling the package.

## Validity, Time Limit, and Session Timeout have separate purposes

Mikhmon profile Validity controls the elapsed validity period through its expiry rules, starting at the first login. With 1h validity, time spent offline still falls inside that hour. The expiry monitor must run and the router clock must be correct.

The generation form’s Time Limit sets the account’s accumulated usage allowance through limit-uptime. Use it for an allowance of online time. If both limits apply, access can end when either is reached.

RouterOS Session Timeout limits an individual login session. Disconnecting does not itself delete the account or restore its allowance. Decide whether the package promises an elapsed validity period or accumulated online time.

## Reading 2M/5M and the two price fields

RouterOS reads rx/tx from the router’s perspective: 2M/5M caps client upload at 2 Mbps and download at 5 Mbps. These are ceilings; available internet capacity and network conditions still affect the result.

Price is used in Mikhmon sales records when the recording mode and account login qualify. Standard voucher templates use Selling Price as the printed sale price when supplied. Both are set to 3000 here so the displayed package price and its records are easy to compare.

Shared Users 1 allows one simultaneous login for an account. Lock User binds the account to a MAC address at login; leave it disabled unless you need that rule. Check custom templates separately because their code controls the printed card.

## When the profile or limits do not match

If Generate Vouchers does not list the profile, close the form, refresh the list, and reopen it on the same router. Check the saved profile before creating another with a similar name.

If login works but the limits differ, inspect the account’s assigned profile and its own time limit. Test with a fresh session after making changes. V3 exposes package settings under Hotspot > User Profiles; these screenshots specifically show V5.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does validity start when the voucher is printed?

For this example using Mikhmon expiry rules, validity begins at the first account login. Printing a card is separate from using the voucher.

### Does generating vouchers immediately create sales records?

No. Sales recording depends on account usage and the profile’s recording mode. Check the report after the test account logs in, rather than only after generation.
